This one is taking a while because I keep getting sidetracked. But I'm finally on a roll. I'm not far from separating for sleeve shaping. This is so heavily modified from the original pattern. I hope I can make it work. So far so good!

I know what you mean. I haven't worn a crop since my early twenties. Not to mention before 2 kids!!
