Rainbow blanket update

This is what it looks like so far.

Latest WIP - Business Casual socks

I think my husband really needs a lovingly made pair of handmade socks. I've only made him one other pair. He is a very good man and I'm very lucky to have him. These are made with my treasured Wollmeise in Resi colourway.

A gift for me!

The upside to husbeast travelling overseas leaving me at home with my 3yr old and 6yr old while 35 weeks pregnant:

Waterkant Socks ... finished!

Finished and I really like them. Very effective in their multi colourway.

Waterkant

I have this naughty skein of WD Sultan that would not play nicely no matter what I tried. Then I saw this Waterkant pattern and thought "Yes!". And it worked out really well. It's worked on a similar principal as the Strandwanderer which I really enjoyed knitting.

Of course I had to change it to FLK which was a bit of a pain because the original pattern not only had gussets but was written for 4 DPNs! Anyway, I got it after a good nights sleep.

One down, one to go.

Rainbow blanket

A friend of mine has this gorgeous blanket. I thought I'd take my chances with the Neat Ripple again and try to make one myself. I haven't crocheted in a while but the baby will be here in about 5 weeks so I best get cracking!

Spot Check socks

I was inspired by a friend's Spot Check socks so much that I had to copy her. The only difference is that I changed to the FLK heel which seems to be a standard for me :) What a warm pair of socks!

Fireweed socks

I've been drooling over these Fireweed socks for ages. So I thought I'd throw caution to the wind and give it a go. I wasn't sure how they would fit being 72st instead of my usual 64st. Also the colourwork didn't look very even prior to blocking. But low and behold...they turned out pretty good. I'm quite proud of them :)

Handknit socks

Some might say I have a problem :)
