Rosenrot lace-garn

Rosenrot lace-garn, originally uploaded by stitch-by-stitch.

A sad story. I had been drooling over Nuvem projects, particularly the ones made with Rosenrot. So I searched the world for one to buy. I eventually found one in the states. I paid for it, but it never arrived. Either did a separate destash order from the states. Luckily in both instances the seller was amazing and offered a half refund.

Unfortunately I had deemed myself on a yarn diet this year. So I couldn't buy anymore. Low and behold, someone offered one to me in exchange for a rare skein of Flower Power. After a little thought, I went ahead. I will definitely knit this up sooner than the FP. I love it!!

Audrey In Unst

Audrey In Unst, originally uploaded by stitch-by-stitch.

I'm almost there. But I found a major flaw. I'm hoping no-one can see it. But I will know it's there. Can you see it?

WWFY - Spring Leaves

Spring Leaves, originally uploaded by stitch-by-stitch.

This is my latest project made by a WWFY knitter. I'm totally in love with it. A light, bright scarf / shawl. It'll be perfect when the weather starts to cool down a bit. Says I in 35 degree heat :)

Decouverte on a summer's day

It's supposed to be summer. Yeah right. It's in the early to mid 20s. So I busted out the only long sleeve top I have kept out (the rest are packed away) and wore my Decouverte for the first time. I tried closing it this time and securing it with a shawl pin. It worked lovely. It kept my chest warm and I could easily whip it off when the sun came out. Shame I had to wear boots in summer though.

FOs

Rasta neckwarmer in Malabrigo Yarn Rasta (Oxido). I was thinking of maybe gifting this to my MIL, but I fell in love with it. I also have Archangel so I'll make that one up and see what I think then. She may get one yet :)

And here is Daphne & Delilah monsters. I made them for a girl from work who is having her first baby. She nearly fell over when I gave it to her. It's right up her alley being homemade and quirky. I'm glad she loved it. You might remember my Babushka quilt that she commissioned me to make for her a while ago.
