Well, after more than a year in the WIP pile, this gorgeous Darling Emma is finally done. Well, I'm calling it done even though I've sill gotta make the belt. But that couldn't be done til the cardi was blocked. Now I know where to attach it.

I was a bit concerned about the size and my tightish gauge, but it's perfect. Just how I like it to fit. Even the arms. Though I had to block the crap out of those babies!

I used TML in Tart. I got my hands on 5 skeins of it but I used about 4. I'll weight it soon.

Here is a terrible crappy night time iPhone picture of my Twylem. I love it! It definitely needed a belt and I've since added some loops so I can still untie it and leave the belt hanging. What an awesome fit! I want to make another one.

Bloglovin'

I'm not sure if you've heard but Google Reader is shutting up shop. I've been wondering how I can keep tabs of all the blogs I follow. Well, the answer is Bloglovin'. It's sooo easy to set up. AND it takes all the blogs you follow from Google Reader and puts them straight into Bloglovin'. It also has an App that you can put on your iphone. So when you're stuck waiting around for the school bell to go or for your turn at the ATM, you can still flick through your unread blog items! Yay!

Also I got 2 other packages. One of which contained Tosh Vintage in Tart which was bought as a destash. The other is Skein Merino Cashmere Fingering in Barley. I'm a little disappointed that there are 2 distinct dye lots considering this was dyed to order. But I'll just alternate, I guess. I have a project in mind for this one :)

Shawls

It was an awesome post day for me today. Firstly there were these 2 shawls. One of them Trillian in Wollmeise Skandal Um Rosi. The other Lucky No.7 in TML Antler and Edison Bulb. Both were made by susanherenow in the WWFY group. They are both PERFECT. I'm particularly loving the chevron one!!!!
