Progress!
After many a false start with this, I'm finally on the straight and narrow. The Tosh Vintage is glorious to knit with. Tern is a gorgeous grey colour. I'm powering along now. Loving it!

Twylem test knit

Twylem
This is what I'm working on at the moment. A test knit from the very talented Vanessa from Knit Rhapsody. When I saw the design, I knew I really needed one. I somehow managed to get my hands on enough Tosh Vintage in Tern. I'm not sure how that happened. The Vintage is a dream to knit with. And luckily it stands up to quite a bit of frogging coz this pattern is kicking my butt! I think I've frogged parts of it at least 4 times. I think I'm on track finally. Though I thought that the last 3 times too. I can't wait to really get into the thick of things.

Darling Emma
I realised the other day that this WIP has been hanging around for almost exactly a year. Well, a few days longer, to be honest. So I'm trying to stay monogomous until this lovely is complete. It's made with Madelinetosh TML in Tart. Love this colour!

Tempest
I was in need of a plain black cardy. I decided on Tempest with no stripes made with Wollmeise Twin. I also decided to heavily modify it by knitting it completely in the round, steeking and set in short row sleeves. I can't imagine making this thing flat in pieces! I really like how it turned out. Though I will be changing the buttons. They look far too heavy for this lightweight cardy. But I'm claling it finished for now.
First day of prep
Did I mention I'm the mother of a school age child. How in the heck did that happen? This little creep started life in the NICU. Being born at 28wks gestation and 1.4kg, he lived at hospital for the first 2 months of his life. Seems like a lifetime ago now. Here he is off to school with his oversized school bag.
