New pjs

Ok, so I was waiting for the carpark to open at Chadstone and happened to look up at a billboard advertising Peter Alexander pjs. I have several pairs already. But when I saw these I HAD to get a pair.

Stockings for Sophie

What do you think of these little lacy socks? They are a (belated) 1st birthday present for Ms Perrett. I hope they fit her. Hopefully mum will send me a pic of her wearing them :)

Wollmeise projects

So here is the progress on my lovely Latvian Garden baby blanket kindly available for free by Pinneguri. I suggest you use this elephant chart which is provided free here. I adjusted it slightly to fit better on the blanket. Pinneguri also provided the middle section for free here. I can't wait to finish it. Not that I'm pregnant or anything :)

The rest of my mother's day present to myself...

Are you ready for some yarn p0rn?

Book and yarn swap

I participated in my first book and yarn swap and was partnered up with a Californian - lovesmore. I wasn't sure what to send and how much? I decided on a locally hand-dyed sock yarn, a sock pattern, a book, stitch markers, a book mark and a project bag all made by me. I wasn't sure what I receive in return. Boy was I spoiled!!! Check out what I got!

Toasty

Here are the Toasty armwarmers I made to match the cowl I made for my mum for her trip to NZ. They are so lovely and soft. I have enough left over to make a pair for myself!
