My girls
Once a year, my girls and I manage to steal away from our partners and children to come out and play. We have 8 children amongst us. This year we changed venues to a restaurant which has a bar with a balcony looking out to the ocean. With the temperature reaching above 30 deg during the day, the evening was lovely and balmy. Add (quite) a few champagnes to the mix and you get 5 very happy ladies. Love ya, bitches! x

Spice Man socks
I'm getting there. Completely knitted in transit 3 days a week. Except for the heel turn which I need longer than a 25min block to knit before putting it down. One night at home each sock, then back on the train. But work has finished for the year so I'll have to do the rest at home. I love these colours.
Gentleman's sock with lozenge pattern
What do you know, another WWFY number. This time a gorgeous handknit pair of socks for the hubberino for Christmas. I hope he loves them as much as I do!! They'll be great for winter :)

Another WWFY number. I LOVE this. It's a shame I've lost so much weight though. I asked for a 38" but I'm now just under 35". In any case, it'll be a lovely cozy coat. I will have to remedy the sleeve length though.

Mara
Here is the finished Mara shawl. It's for a christmas gift for an aunt-in-law. She lives in Armidale where it gets quite cold at times. Hope she likes it! I do. It's going to be difficult to give away!
