Here it is. My first go at quilting. Originally meant for a cousin's baby's 1st birthday, but I didn't make it in time. Now it sits on my shelf eagerly awaiting a lucky new owner. Lucky there's lots of birthday's coming up :)
Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! Great job!! I made a quilt for my daughter, Savannah's "big girl" room, but I was too nervous to actually quilt it so I sent it out to be machine quilted. You did a FABULOUS job!! I'm really into sewing clothing, but I'm starting to get a little quilting bug......this is beautiful!
Oh thank you very much. It's only my first attempt so I'm not completely happy with it. But it was a great learning curve for my next one which I'm in the middle of now. This one will be sent out to be quilted :) The quilting bug has only recently bitten me too. I was a full-on knitter prior to that. But oddly, once I fell pregnant, I lost my knitting mojo?!
